Projects
Solutions we've developed for different geometries, materials and production needs.
We have completed more than 100 projects to date. Below is a selection that shows how parts from different industries were approached. Each part gets its own production method, based on its function, quantity and operating conditions.
The Production Methods We Use
Projects are delivered with one of these methods, alone or combined.
Automotive Bracket
A mounting bracket produced from an engineering plastic and required to carry mechanical load. Because only a low quantity was needed, it was produced without the tooling cost of a metal alternative.
Functional Enclosure
An enclosure designed to protect electronic components and produced with flame-retardant properties. The lid-to-body fit and cable entry points were revised at the CAD stage with manufacturability in mind.
Bodywork Component
A connecting part designed and produced for body integration. Because assembly tolerances were verified at the CAD stage, no revision was needed after production.
Production Fixture
A repeatable assembly fixture used on a production line. The small quantity and short lead time were decisive in choosing the production method.
Reverse Engineering Application
A CAD model was reverse-engineered from a part with no technical data, and the part was then produced. The geometry captured by 3D scanning was dimensionally verified before being prepared for production.
Prototype Part
This prototype was produced to test function and assembly fit. Being able to test several revisions quickly before moving to series production was the key advantage of 3D printing at this stage.
